on a night like this

hazy and cozy
falafel and alcohol
like always we laugh

around 10pm
after a filling meal
mix in a couple of drinks
we composed verses of poems

haikus, to be exact.
ha,
and sketches,
left-handed sketches,
of light, window sills, and panes.

the 40minutes walk back
the 3hours talk outside
how much joy, emotions, thoughts
can one fit within 7hours?

--smiles bright enough to light up half the world

city of walking mirrors

it's not for us to judge
whether she's/they're doing it right
so why do i cringe?

music: "The Man Who Sold the World" --Nirvana

if people are so unsatisfied,
and have all these ideas for improvement,
why don't they act upon it?
how is looking down upon others,
and not doing anything to change it,
make them more superior?

then i look into the mirror
and see spite staring back

music: "Laughing City" --Eisley

the bus arrives:

i think, i can answer my question now,
though it's incomplete, and perhaps never will be.

i changed. my feelings changed.
and it'd be inappropriate to compare,
'cuz they're both beautiful in their own ways
and my emotions, this love, needs rest
you've had your share for the longest time
let it rest.
